GUARANTEES: Two options are possible with the Tranqui'Loc contract

Covid-19 - What does your contract cover?

What is covered:

  • The guarantee provides for the reimbursement to the insured tenant of the sums actually paid by the Insured and the cancellation or modification costs due under this contract, less transport taxes (example: air taxes) and stay, premiums. insurance and administrative costs, if the Insured tenant cannot leave for the following reason: The Insured, his or her spouse or a member of his family as well as any person usually living with the Insured has been diagnosed positive for COVID-19 before the scheduled departure date of the trip.

    What is excluded:

  • We will not cover any travel cancellations due solely to outbreak or pandemic-related travel advice issued by governments, health authorities or the World Health Organization, by or for the country of destination or the country of origin.

  • We will not cover any trip cancellations resulting solely from border closures, quarantine measures or other government orders, notices, regulations or guidelines.

  • We will not cover trip cancellations if the Insured cancels their trip because of their reluctance to travel, a change of mind on their part or their fear of traveling.

  • We will not cover trip cancellations if an airline, hotel or travel service provider has offered a voucher, credit, or rebooking of the trip for cancellation refund or compensation.

  • We will not cover any loss if the Insured, his spouse or a member of his family as well as any person usually living with the Insured travels against the advice of a doctor, nor any claim arising from an action on his part going against a doctor's advice (including, but not limited to, traveling with symptoms of COVID-19).
